Mary Ann CaseAssistant Actuary Mary Ann Case has been with Richard E. Sherman & Associates, Inc., since 1993 and has over 10 years of experience in actuarial and financial analysis. Ms. Case has worked with over 25 public entity clients, ranging from municipalities to joint entity pools. She has also worked with over 20 private insurance companies and corporations. Her work experience has included assisting with reserve analyses, cost allocation reports, excess analyses and self-insured feasibility studies. Ms. Case’s technology skills include development of reports using Affinity actuarial software, forecasting using Crystal Ball simulation software, database management, and Excel spreadsheet management. Ms. Case graduated from Southern Oregon State College (SOSC) in June 1992, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry. She consistently achieved academic honors and maintained a G.P.A. of 3.75 at SOSC. Mary Ann was not only awarded the outstanding student in Mathematics as a Junior and Senior, but also served the SOSC Math Club as Vice President (1990/91) and President (1991/92). Prior to joining Richard Sherman & Associates, Ms. Case worked as an administrative assistant for a State Farm insurance agent and True Life Publishing, Inc. She has also worked as a customer service representative for Bank of America and Mechanics Bank, as well as a junior and senior high tutor at the Study Center in Ashland, OR.
