Richard Fallquist is President & Consulting Actuary of Fallquist Actuaries, Inc., in Seattle Washington. He is also President of e-actuary.com, Inc., a company working to develop actuarial and risk management tools accessible on the internet.

Richard has 33 years of experience consulting with property/casualty insurers and self-insurers. He is the creator and developer of the EXHIBITMAKER, EXHIBITMAKER PLUS and EXHIBITMAKER 5 risk management and loss reserving software, a product of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he was formerly a partner. The software was renamed RESERVEPRO.

Prior consulting experience includes serving as a partner at Big-5 accounting firms Ernst & Young LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and as Consulting Actuary at Milliman & Robertson, Inc. He has also worked for SAFECO and the Travelers Insurance Companies.

Richard has significant experience in consulting to a diverse group of clients. He has served numerous insurance companies and self-insured corporations and public entities. His experience includes reserving and ratemaking in personal and commercial lines, analysis of excess loss and reinsurance costs, expert testimony, feasibility studies and management consulting. He has consulted a number of clients in workers' compensation and liability loss reserve funding, rate levels, and allocation of costs.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Richard is a past member of the American Academy of Actuaries’ Casualty Practices Council and has served on the Planning Committee of the Casualty Loss Reserve Seminar. He was an organizer and is Past President of Casualty Actuaries of the Northwest. He is a member of the Seattle Actuarial Club. He has also served on a number of professional and industry committees. He is the author of five papers.
